Metis Step by Step

Select Your Language

Choose your preferred language to start: English or Finnish. This selection will only affect the chatbot interface.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: You cannot change the language during the process. Additionally, the language of your input (CV or text) will determine the language of job recommendations, regardless of the chatbot language.

Introduction & Consent

Metis will introduce itself and provide links to the Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement (EULA). This step ensures that you understand how your data will be handled securely.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Action: Choose to Continue or select Tell Me More to learn how Metis works and how it supports your job search.

Share Your Skills

You have two options to input your skills, depending on what works best for you:

  1. Upload CV
โš ๏ธ CV Processing Time Limit (Free Version): For quick results, CV processing is limited to 30 seconds. Weโ€™ll analyze as much of your CV as possible within this time.

๐Ÿ’กTip: Upload a concise CV focusing on current and future-relevant skills. Long CVs may dilute the relevance of the results. For larger files, [Book a demo] to explore advanced processing features.
  2. Add Details Manually
    • Write clear, specific sentences: Aim for at least 30 words describing your skills and experience.
    • Example: “I have 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, specializing in Agile product development, user research, and analytics-driven decision-making for SaaS platforms……”

Real-Life Example: Users who write detailed, structured sentences see more accurate job recommendations compared to those who list generic keywords.

Data Quality Assessment & Skills Snapshot

After submission, Metis will assess your data quality based on three key indicators:

Machine Readability: Evaluates if your data is machine-readable and structured correctly.

๐Ÿ”ด Low: “Your data quality is poor, please improve your input.”

Select Relevant Skills

Metis will display a list of extracted skills from your input. Your task is to select the most relevant ones to improve the accuracy of job recommendations.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Avoid selecting generic skills like “data” or “research.” Instead, choose specific terms like “data visualization,” “market analysis,” or “user interface design.”

๐Ÿ˜ฐ Troubleshooting: If the suggested skills are irrelevant, revisit your input to add more specific details about your experience and achievements.

Choose Your Location

Enter the name of a city in Finland where you’d like to find job opportunities. Metis will tailor job recommendations based on this location.
๐Ÿ’ก Tip: If results are limited, you can broaden your search to cover an entire region or all of Finland.

Review Job Recommendations

Metis will provide job recommendations that include:

Matching Skills: Skills from your input that align with job requirements.
Missing Skills: Skills that are important for certain roles but were not found in your input.
Recommendation Score: Jobs will be rated as High, Medium, or Low based on how well they match your skills.

Factors affecting the number of recommendations and low score:

The language of your input (e.g., English vs. Finnish) directly impacts the language of job recommendations.

The city or region selected, as job availability varies geographically.

Missing key skills required for specific roles

The quality of job ads: Some job listings may contain excessive irrelevant content, poorly structured skills, or inconsistent formatting, which can affect matching accuracy. Just as your input is processed based on its structure and clarity, the same applies to job ads. Poorly written ads might lead to mismatches despite good input from your side.

๐Ÿ’กTip: Carefully review missing skills to understand gaps in your profile. This helps you identify areas for development or adjust your input to improve future recommendations.

๐Ÿ† Level 2 Completed: Achieve a high recommendation score to complete Level 2. Ensure the recommended jobs align with your career goals.
